Faith always has an object to which it points, or it is no faith at all. Our faith is in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only One worthy of all our worship and our complete faith and hope.

Jesus is the Founder of our faith because it is by His finished work alone that we are saved from deserved condemnation. He is also the Finisher, or Perfecter, of our faith because by His Holy Spirit He is sanctifying us day by day, slowly conforming us to His image, and one day perfecting us so that we can dwell with Him and see Him face to face free from sin.

This is the foundation of our faith. Look to Christ alone for salvation and rest in His finished work!
